Autumn Term 2007

The children in Maple Class went on a three day residential to Kilve. They had a fantastic time mountain biking, hiking on the edge of the Quantocks and taking part in team building exercises. Many thanks to Mrs Barlow, Mrs Moore and Mr Tyrrell and of course the children for making the trip so memorable.

In early October we watched a performance of Charlotte's Web by M and M Theatrical Productions. The children particularly enjoyed watching the antics of Templeton the rat. Click on the picture to find out more about E.B. White and the book of Charlotte's Web.

The children of Ash Class went to see the Mary Rose and the HMS Victory in Portsmouth as part of their work on the Tudors. They had a wonderful time finding out about life onboard a Tudor ship and were fascinated by some of the artifacts on show in the Mary Rose Museum. Find out more about what they got up to by listening to their podcast of their trip....click here.

Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 children went to Stourhead on Monday 15th October. They had a wonderful time experiencing Autumn. They walked around the lake in the morning and spent the afternoon doing woodland activities. Many thanks to Mrs Oram, Mrs Forsey, Mrs Hann, Mrs Ebdon, Ms Brooks, Mrs Olsson, Mrs Humphris, Mrs Brooker. A big thankyou also to Mrs Smith, Mrs Norris and Mrs Plenty.

The children of Foundation and KS1 spelled out Christmas through song in their Christmas production.
